food and farming
Most people farmed in Ancient Greece because it provided enough money for themselves and their family to survive. It was difficult to farm in Greece because of its landscape and climate. There was a lot of farming due to the mountains that seperated the regions. This made it hard to trade food with other cities so they farmed for their own regions that they lived in. The main products that they farmed were wheat, olives and grapes. They also did a lot of fishing because most of Greece is surrounded by ocean.
